Service Manager
Cherno has worked in the Health and Social Care sector for 9 years in various capacities including Senior Support Worker, Assistant Manager and Registered Manager. He has an extensive experience of working with adults who have learning difficulties in residential and community settings, and has been involved with self-advocacy organisations working to support service users to have a greater say on the services they receive.

Before joining Cintre in April 2010, Cherno worked for a mental health charity developing a rural-based support service for adults with experience of mental illness. A trained nurse and former teacher, Cherno has also undertaken a number of vocational and academic courses which are of relevance to this sector. He has a particular interest in how person-centred approaches can promote independence, community presence and participation for adults who have a learning difficulty. Cherno is currently studying for a degree in Leadership and Management with the Open University.
